Your privacy is important. On Baeyond, you have full control over who sees your profile, your photos, and how you appear on the platform. Whether you want to stay low-profile or increase your visibility to connect faster, your settings can be adjusted to match your preferences.

🔐 Account Access Settings

These settings are found in the Settings > Account section of your profile.

• Name: This is your display name and can be edited anytime.
• Location & Age: Used to help match you with others nearby or within your desired age range.
• Email: Your email address for login and notifications.
• Username: This is set at registration and cannot be changed. Must be between 8 and 30 characters.

🔑 Password Settings

If you want to update your password:

• Go to Settings > Account
• Enter your current password
• Choose a new password (between 8 and 50 characters)
• Confirm the change

For your safety, always use a strong password you haven’t used on other platforms.

👁️‍🗨️ Privacy Controls

Located under Settings > Privacy, these allow you to choose who sees your content.

• Who can see my profile
• Options may include: Everyone, Members only, Matches only
• Who can see my images
• You can allow visibility to all users, or limit to only those you approve.

These settings allow you to be seen when you want—and stay private when you don’t.

💤 Temporarily Deactivate Your Profile

Need a break?

• You can deactivate your profile temporarily without deleting your account.
• Your profile will be hidden from all users, but can be reactivated at any time.

Perfect if you’re taking time off or stepping back from dating for a while.

🗑️ Delete Your Account

Want to permanently leave Baeyond?

• You can delete your account at any time under Settings > Privacy
• After deletion, your profile and all information will be permanently erased after 90 days
• You may reactivate your profile within this 90-day window if you change your mind

Note: Once permanently deleted, your information cannot be recovered.

• Think about your visibility goals – more exposure = more connections, but you’re always in control.
• Keep your email updated in case you need to recover your account.
• Use the deactivation feature if you're unsure about leaving permanently.
• Adjust visibility to photos based on comfort and who you want to attract.
