Stay organized and in control of your conversations

Your Baeyond inbox is where all your connections come to life. Whether you’re exchanging first messages, continuing a promising chat, or keeping things tidy, managing your inbox helps you enjoy a smoother experience.

Where to Find Your Inbox

• Click on the Messages icon from your dashboard or main menu.
• You’ll see all your ongoing conversations listed chronologically — newest first.

Understanding the Inbox Layout

• Unread Messages are bolded to help you spot what’s new.
• Match Icons or profile pictures help you quickly identify who you’re talking to.
• Use the Search Bar to find a specific username or chat.

Key Features

Replying to Messages

• Click on a conversation to open it.
• Type your reply and click Send.
• Emojis and line breaks are supported to keep things expressive and easy to read.

Managing Unwanted Conversations

You cannot delete individual messages or conversations. However, if you no longer wish to receive messages from someone:

• You can ignore or block the user.
• Once blocked, they will no longer be able to contact you or interact with your profile.
• The conversation will be automatically hidden from your inbox.

Note: Blocking someone is the only way to stop seeing their messages and prevent future contact

Blocking or Reporting

• If someone is making you uncomfortable, click the Report or Block option within the conversation.
• You’ll no longer receive messages from that person, and our moderation team will review the report discreetly.

Note: You will only receive an email notification for a new message if you are offline at the time it is sent. If you're actively using Baeyond, you’ll see the message directly in-app.

Privacy and Message Requests

• If your privacy settings are set to “Only Friends” or “Registered Users”, messages from users outside that circle will appear under Message Requests — a separate inbox tab.
• You can approve or ignore these messages without notifying the sender.

Tips for a Clean and Healthy Inbox

• Archive old chats regularly.
• Use search and filters to stay organized.
• Keep your tone kind and respectful — it encourages better responses and better connections.
